TC Martin & Associates was founded by Tom Martin more than 50 years ago, who trained as a physiotherapist following his service in the Second World War.

While Tom predominantly treated the general public, he was also the physiotherapist to Walsall Football Club and some of Britain’s top cyclists as he helped treat home-grown talent on the Tour of Britain Cycle Race. Tom was then joined by Reg Butler in 1974, who was also the physiotherapist at Garrington Foundary in Darlaston, as well as Bilston F.C. Following a long and successful career, Reg retired in 2002.

Tom’s son Chris, qualified in 1984 from The Northern Institute of Massage, and joined the practice on a full time basis in 1986. He has proudly maintained and developed the traditional physiotherapy techniques of Remedial Massage, Electrotherapy and Exercise, that have helped build the reputation of the practice, which he now runs.
